BARROS

Maria Barros is the creative director of MB Home, a company she founded in 1997.

With offices in Cascais, MB Home is a company that has been dedicated to developing interior design projects for happy homes, offices and commercial spaces. Using design and decoration as a means to improve the lives of those who hire her services is her main goal.

BUSSCHAU

Teresa Busschau - Architect with a degree from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon. Registered at the Bar of Architects since 1995.

Teresa   dedicates herself to the elaboration of architectural projects, interior architecture, furniture design and consulting in the various areas of her activity. The projects she has completed are varied in typology and size. The architectural projects in which she has participated goes from a shopping mall in Cascais, to single-family houses, the remodeling of houses and apartments, a dental clinic, interior architecture and furniture design for houses, an office of a multinational company, a lodge in a natural reserve, etc.

Projects that are presented to her consideration represents new challenges, new opportunities to learn, to explore and to grow.

One of the characteristics of her interior architecture work is to amalgamate contemporary design with antiques and ethnic objects.

She is an Architect of the World. Wherever she goes she brings new ideas, particularly from Africa where she lived for 17 years. In Umhlanga, Durban, South Africa, she worked at the "Atelier and Associates" – firm of architects, as soon as she arrived in South Africa to learn the protocols of that country, and later went freelance.

Teresa Busschau is an architect who joins form and function, and more than imposing her vision, she tries to understand the Client's needs. She finds the ideal solutions according to the client's budget and is concerned with the aesthetic and environmental impact. It values transparency, integrity, and loyalty in her relationship with Clients. She presents her projects, and she walks through the project with the client from its outset to its conclusion with the satisfaction of the client.
